Health Sciences Division NCUR Presentation Awards 2026 DeadlineThe CUR Health Sciences Division is offering awards to help cover the cost of registration and travel (up to $500) for undergraduate students presenting original research at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR 2026), April 13-15, 2026.  Physics and Astronomy Nadine Barlow Undergraduate Research Support Award 2026 DeadlineThe CUR Physics and Astronomy Division requests applications for the Nadine Barlow Undergraduate Research Support Award. This award, with a maximum amount of $500 each, will be offered to help undergraduates (1) conduct faculty-mentored research, (2) present their research at national conferences, or (3) publish their research in peer-reviewed journals.  URP Division Awards to Recognize Exemplary URP Websites 2026 DeadlineThis award recognizes websites with logical navigability and design, effectively communicate information for faculty and students, highlight program successes, and provide programmatic details that could allow for replication. Awardees receive $500.  Social Sciences Division Undergraduate Conference Awards Spring 2026 DeadlineThe CUR Social Sciences Division is offering a limited number of grants, up to $400 each, for undergraduate students presenting the results of research that they have conducted at a national or international, discipline-specific meeting (in person or virtually) during the academic year 2025-2026.  Geosciences Division Faculty Mentor Award 2026 DeadlineThe Geosciences Division of CUR annually recognizes an individual who serves as a role model for productive and transformative student-faculty mentoring relationships and for maintaining a sustained and innovative approach to the enterprise of undergraduate research. Geosciences Division Early Career Undergraduate Mentor Award 2026 DeadlineThe Geoscience Division of the Council of Undergraduate Research (GeoCUR) recognizes the critical work of developing best practices in undergraduate research. This award highlights individuals who place undergraduate research at the center of professional activities. GeoCUR annually recognizes individuals who are initiating creative, impactful, and/or innovative undergraduate research activities. Geosciences Division Award for Excellence in Student Research 2026 DeadlineCUR’s Geoscience Division (GeoCUR) gives annual awards to full-time undergraduate students currently enrolled in a two-year or four-year educational institution engaging in research emphasizing the geosciences, such as geology, oceanography, atmospheric sciences, etc.  MCS Division Mentor Awards 2026 DeadlineThe Mathematical, Computing, and Statistical Sciences Division of CUR is pleased to announce three awards to honor mentors for their success in mentoring undergraduate students in research. Faculty mentoring interdisciplinary projects are encouraged to apply as long as those projects involve a major mathematics, computer science, or statistics component.  Education Division Outstanding Undergraduate Award 2026 DeadlineThe Education Division of CUR will award an outstanding undergraduate education student for their efforts in undergraduate research in education. An honorarium of $1000 will be given in the spring.
