The Education Division of CUR will award an outstanding undergraduate education student for their efforts in undergraduate research in education (special education, higher education, teacher education (PK-12), health education, physical education, counseling, etc.). An honorarium of $1000 will be given to an undergraduate student in the spring of 2026 who demonstrates the significant impact the research has/or will make in the field of education.
Eligibility
To apply for the award, students must be undergraduate education majors in the 2025-2026 academic year.
Deadline
The award application must be completed by February 13, 2026.
Review Process
Applications will be reviewed on the following merit:
- How your research project has made a significant contribution to research in undergraduate education; including any information about the dissemination of the research as a peer-reviewed international/national journal publication or conference presentation.
- How your research project promotes the mission of CUR through the lens of Education.
