Papers are subject to a rigorous peer review process by our team of peer reviewers, comprising diverse interests in economic academia.
The Smith College Historical Review is dedicated to publishing historical scholarship by undergraduate students. We seek submissions from the United States and abroad and accept papers with any geographic, temporal, or thematic focus within history. We also welcome submissions not originally written for history courses, but that interrogate primary sources from a historical perspective. Submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis for the journal’s fall and spring issues.

In his essay “What is Enlightenment?”, Immanuel Kant states that the motto of the Enlightenment is “Sapere aude!” [Dare to know!]. This phrase expresses our mission at Sapere Aude, the undergraduate philosophy journal of the College of Wooster.
We invite undergraduate students to submit papers concerning any area of philosophy for publication in our journal, the goal being the general pursuit of knowledge. All submissions go through a blind peer review process, conducted by College of Wooster students to ensure the highest levels of quality.
