  • CUR-Goldwater Scholars Faculty Mentor Award 2025 Deadline

    CUR has partnered with the Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation Program (Goldwater Program) to recognize faculty mentors who conduct their research in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) discipline, as defined by the Goldwater Program, and who have mentored a minimum of three Goldwater Scholars during their career.

  • Arts and Humanities Faculty Mentor Award 2026 Deadline

    The CUR Arts and Humanities Faculty Mentor Award recognizes exemplary faculty mentors of undergraduate researchers in the arts and humanities fields. Mentors are leaders and role models for those involved in undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activities. The award was established by a gift from Joyce Kinkead, distinguished professor of English, Utah State University. Awardees receive $1000, a plaque to display the achievement, and recognition at an awards celebration with the CUR community.

  • SPUR Call for Proposals Deadline: Research Identity

    For this theme issue of Scholarship and Practice of Undergraduate Research (SPUR), 6-8 articles of 5,000 words each are sought that examine identity in undergraduate research. Papers may address any topic related to identity or identity development.
